LAV ve GCA Gürallar Cam Ambalaj Tarafından Başlatılan Robotik Kodlama Eğitim Projesi

The "Robotic Coding Education Project”, launched by LAV and GCA Gürallar Cam Ambalaj, innovative brand of glass, with the aim of making children master new technologies, has been completed. Thanks to the project, 142 students from the Ağaçköy Primary School and Ağaçköy Middle School in Kütahya met programming and robotic coding.

LAV, inspiring glass brand, and GCA Gürallar Cam Ambalaj, a follower and practitioner of the latest technology, continue to support education. In this framework, the last study that was implemented in cooperation with GCA Gürallar Cam Ambalaj and LAV was the Robotic Coding Training Project. 

Arduino programming and robotic coding training was given to the students of the Ağaçköy Primary and Secondary Schools in the center of Kütahya with the project, which was carried out with the aim of the new generation to dominate today's technologies and to lead technological developments in the future. A total of 56 students from the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades participated in the first phase of the project, which took place in the summer period of 2018, received 92 hours of training. The theoretical and practical trainings were held 4 days a week and 23 hours in total, apart from the daily lesson hours. The materials needed for the training were also provided by LAV and GCA Gürallar Cam Ambalaj. After high efficiency and successful completion of the first stage, in the second stage of education, a total of 86 students, including 42 primary schools and 44 secondary schools, learned Arduino programming and robotic coding. The students who participated in Robotic Coding training also found the opportunity to exhibit the projects they prepared within the scope of TÜBİTAK 4006 Science Fairs Support Program at the Ağaçköy Science Fair event held on 13 March 2019. Combining students with technology with the Robotic Coding Education Project, LAV and GCA Gürallar Cam Ambalaj contributed to the development of children's mathematics and computer science skills at an early age, the development of analytical thinking in children, increasing school achievements and socializing. It is planned that the trainings will continue to become widespread in other schools in the coming period.
